Complete the following activities below.

 

1. Draw how you would have imagined a character (Mrs Mossop, Tom Leyton, The Running Man).

2. Research silkworms and put together a short report on the history of silkworms, what they do and how they change (cycle).

3. Write a short story from Mrs Mossop’s point of view when Joseph accuses her of not knowing anything in chapter 12.

4. Interview one of the characters with 5-10 questions relating to the key theme of appearances and the aspects of their lives relating to the key theme.

5. Find five quotes about appearances and highlight the key words.

6. Redesign how you would have imagined the cover of The Running Man. Consider the characters and symbols you may include.
